Being situated to North Shields fishing quay offers us a fantastic supply of fresh caught fish, landed each day.
North Shields
While most of the country is tucked up in bed, our buyer is at the fish market! Bidding to source us the best day boat landings each day. Species native to this area include lemon sole and monkfish through to plaice, haddock and cod. We source many other sustainable varieties when in season. During the summer we also supply lots of local lobsters, crabs and shellfish.
Peterhead, Scotland
Peterhead harbour’s 400 year history is synonymous with landings of the UK’s premier white fish. Situated in the north of Scotland, Peterhead offers us species not always available in the waters of southern England. Landed daily, we buy species such as cod, coley, pollock and plaice.
Brixham, Devon
Through our links to the famous Brixham fish market, we are able to source the best of the south coast landings, day boats prime fish such as red mullet, plaice, turbot and brill.
Farmed fish often features on core menu lines due to its consistent quality, availability and price. To enable us to guarantee responsible sourcing, we buy and import directly from source, such as salmon from Scotland and Norway.
We only work with small, specialist operators for live shellfish. In summer months we buy lobsters and crabs from local fishermen and during the winter we import directly from North America. We have live shellfish holding tanks enabling us to guarantee ultimate freshness.
